MegaZ Battery Hold-Downs

I use a bandsaw to make these. I have three styles, each in 3 versions....S30/130, Z31 and Z32. They are offered in 1/4" polished 6061 aluminum, chromed 3/8" aluminum, and chromed raised Z 1/2" with 3/8" legs. I cut them out on bandsaw, then finish them with 3 belt/disc sanders. Then I sand and polish them. The 1/4" version is then ready for sale. The larger ones go off to the chromer for a show car finish. The 1/2" raised Z version has to be bridgeported at a machine shop first. You need a battery with at least 3.5" flat surface between the posts for best mounting results, but they will work with batteries with wet cells. Mounting hardware is included, but attention must be paid to the height of the battery used and method of securing it to the battery tray/firewall.
